Photos from Grenada

Although I spent most of my time attending presentations and participating in workshops, I did have the chance to see some wildlife in Grenada and take a few photos. As you might guess, there are some familiar faces down there: many of the same birds live in both Grenada and St. Martin, and a number of the same introduced species also live on both islands. Some of the other species are quite different. Grenada is much closer to South America, and it is also much taller and has rainforests and other habitats that don’t really exist on St. Martin. It might seem surprising that I didn’t take many bird photos, but given the fancy camera gear that many of the other attendees had, I figured I might as well focus on the other wildlife and leave the birds to them. If you want to get a look at the critters that live on Grenada, you can see them here.
